Individual Therapy

Psychology counselling or psychotherapy aims to improve your mental health and well-being, change or improve your behaviours, beliefs, compulsions, thoughts and emotions, in order to be healthy and happy.

Mental health is your psychological, emotional and social well-being. We all experience challenging emotions, stress, pressure and feel overwhelmed, especially if we’re going through a major change or transition in our lives. Our thoughts can become negative or harmful for our health, leading to change our attitudes, habits, performance, relationships, affecting our overall physical and mental health.

Some mental health issues arise from biological or genetic factors, but others arise from psychological or environmental trauma and abuse. If untreated, these issues grow, causing emotional suffering and symptoms of anxiety, depression and others.
