Inner Peace Psychology is a psychology centre for individuals, couples and families offering counseling from caring, experienced therapists in Winnipeg. We support clients with life issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD and other mental health concerns. We support individuals, couples and families to find their inner peace and be well now.
After various challenging life events, Sarah decided to leave the corporate world and embark on a journey of self-healing to India. She returned back to Canada inspired to become a psychologist, and completed her doctoral-training in 2015. She founded Inner Peace Psychology in 2018 to combine the wisdom of the East with psychotherapy from the West.
Growing up in the poverty of Colombia, Maria was keen to travel the world and see new experiences. She was fortunate to receive a scholarship to study counselling psychology at the University of Winnipeg in 2010 and completed her training as a Registered Psychologist in 2019. She shares a global experience and is committed to respecting the cultural experiences of her clients.
Lauren was always interested in understanding human behaviour and was inspired to learn about human relationships from her grandmother. After losing her parents in a tragic accident, she was inspired to overcome her grief through a combination of psychotherapy and relying on her spiritual practice. She is passionate in helping couples find and nurture love in their relationship.
Mark grew up with a learning disability, making school more challenging and stressful. He was committed to overcoming his disability by understanding how to use his cognitive capabilities in creative new ways. He’s passionate about helping other people that are struggling in life with learning and career development.
Our experienced team of psychologists, counsellors and social workers offer treatments and support from academic training and clinical experience.
Our team doesn’t only focus on academic theories, we listen carefully to you, with compassion to create a safe space for you share your life story.
We draw our wisdom from a variety of sources and methodologies, including Western psychotherapy (CBT, DBT, ACT, EFT), as well as Eastern practices.
We won’t put you into boxes or use labels; we think outside the box when it comes to finding creative solutions to your mental health challenges.
